The company is engaged in the provision of management consultancy services for companies in the passenger and commercial air transport business. The company is one of the leading groups in the tourist industry. The company was incorporated in May of 1997. The group is made up of the following companies: Air Europa, which is Globalia's airline and was the first Spanish private airline to operate scheduled flights; Halcón Viajes and Viajes Ecuador, which makes up the Group's Travel Agency Division and has become the largest agency network in Spain and Portugal; Travelplán, the leading tour operator in the Spanish market, both in terms of number of destinations and number of passengers; Touring Club, the official distributor for Spain of Disneyland Resort Paris; Globalia Cruceros, the Group's Cruise Line, which is marketed and operates under the Travelplan brand; Globalia Handling, a strategic business unit which provides ground services in domestic and international airports managing; Globalia Hotels & Resorts, the group's Hotel Division devoted to running and managing Hotels; Pepecar.com, a low-cost car hire company, which offers reasonably priced car hire in a dynamic and original way; Century 21 España, the group's real estate division and the franchise master for Spain; Globalia Formación, the group's integrated Training Center, specialized in the tourism sector, aerial transport and leisure; Globalia artes Gráficas, the group's Printing Company dedicated to producing books, magazines, brochures and printed matter; Globalia Contact Center, a multi/media contact center help center; and Globalia Sistemas y Comunicaciones, the back up unit for the IT and the telecommunications division of the group.
