This company is engaged in the provision of ground handling services for airports. It was founded in 2003 and has its registered head office in the city of Llucmajor in Spain. The company is considered as the second largest handling services operator in the Spanish market. Through its subsidiaries, EuroHandling and IberHandling, it is present in Spanish airports. EuroHandling and IberHandling provide services to third parties. The company also has operation in Portugal through its acquisition of TAP - SPdH, a government-owned handling company in the country. The acquisition allows the company to expand its Portuguese network by incorporating Porto, Faro, Lisbon, Porto Santo and Funchal airports. In September of 2005, the company created Globalia Handling de Mexico SA de CV in order to provide handling services to third parties at both Mexico City and Cancun airports.
